Marmite
Marmite
Till now, this is one of
the products
which has attract
ed my attention.
Ass soon as I saw my child spreading this product, I immediately wanted to know what it was. It's intense brown, almost black. Its texture is similar to liquid caramel.
When I asked to Karen (the
child's mother), she said
to me:
It's a very typical product in England, its flavor is very intense, or you adore it or you detest it.
After all, I tasted the product but I didn't know very well what it was. It was a strong flavor,
and yes, it was strange.
The flavor remembered me when I ate roast
ed chicken, the most strong sauce
's flavor.
On the label I read that this product is suitable for vegetarian people so my idea wasn't possible.
I
searched in internet and I found the next slogan “love it or hate it”, the same
what Karen
had told me.
It's a typical product for
Englhis people and it's made with the extract of
beer yeast. It's obtained as a sub product of the beer process.
Finally, if you come here, I recommend
to go to Tesco or something similar and
to buy marmite. You will tell me if you like it or not.
All this
talk about food has made me
to be hungry so I'm going to go to the kitchen and I'm going to eat a marmite
's toast.
